I continuously used the Happilaff CH-208 for three months for daily cooking in my solo kitchen. I will honestly report the results of actually testing it for various uses such as mincing, smoothies, baby food, and ground meat. I hope this will be helpful for those looking for a compact and easy-to-use food processor.
CH-208 Basic Specifications
Unboxing and Appearance Check
Upon opening the box, you'll find the main unit, a 600ml glass bowl, an S-shaped 4-blade, a cleaning brush, a silicone sheet, and an instruction manual. The glass bowl is highly transparent, allowing you to check the food's condition at a glance. The 6mm thick glass also has the effect of absorbing operating noise, giving the impression of being quieter than a plastic bowl. The main unit is compact and fits perfectly on a narrow kitchen counter in a single-person household.

Overall Review: A Compact All-Rounder Perfect for Time-Saving in a Single-Person Kitchen
The CH-208 is a food processor for single-person households that combines "compactness, simplicity, and cost-performance." Even at 350W, it minces onions in 8 seconds and grinds chicken in 15 seconds, demonstrating sufficient power for everyday cooking time-saving. The hygiene of the glass bowl, the ease of being dishwasher-safe, and the price of ¥4,399 make it a product I can confidently recommend to first-time food processor buyers.
If you primarily make smoothies with frozen ingredients and ice, consider the PC-2105. For large-batch cooking for a family of four, consider the CH-210. For time-saving in a single-person kitchen and making baby food, the CH-208 is the best choice.
Purchase CH-208 âFrequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q1. Can the CH-208 crush ice?
- Due to its 350W power, ice crushing is not recommended. Small amounts of tiny ice (under 1cm) might be processed, but it puts a heavy strain on the motor. If you want to make smoothies with ice, we recommend the 850W PC-2105 or PC-2110.
- Q2. Will the glass bowl break?
- It uses 6mm thick tempered glass, so there is almost no concern of it breaking during normal use. However, avoid dropping it or subjecting it to sudden temperature changes (such as washing with cold water immediately after putting in hot ingredients). If it breaks, please contact customer service.
- Q3. How much can be processed at once?
- Although the bowl capacity is 600ml, please fill ingredients to approximately 70-80% of the capacity (about 400-480ml) as a guideline. For onions, about 1-1.5 pieces, and for chicken breast, about 200g, can be processed at once. If processing a large quantity, do so in several batches.
- Q4. Is there a limit to continuous use time?
- One processing cycle should be limited to approximately 30 seconds. If processing a large quantity continuously, we recommend using it in a cycle of 20 seconds of processing followed by 20 seconds of rest. It has an overheat protection function, so it will automatically stop if it becomes overloaded.
